In 1960, Dr. Karl Storz invented the cold light source. Since then, people have transmitted the light generated by the cold light source outside the endoscope to the distal end of the endoscope through high-quality optical fibers, reducing heat dissipation.

High power LED handheld battery light source
The latest developed LED handheld light source is powered by batteries and features a universal design that can connect to all KARL STORZ endoscopes, fiber scopes, and automotive endoscopes (diameter up to 4.2mm). For ease of use, the new LED light source can also be individually adjusted in direction and is suitable for left and right hand use.
The 3W high-power light source can infinitely adjust the light intensity. The color temperature of 5700K is close to real sunlight, presenting the true colors of objects. When using the highest brightness, the device can run for 60 minutes and provide good illumination for larger objects.
